Decide yourself whether you want to store different versions on the platform and just the compatible version for the particular mobile device has to be chosen or just place one single solution for all devices. This one solution does not need to have the least common denominator of the different mobile devices. Your application gets customized to the features of the device automatically. When there is a GPS, A-GPS or CellID identification the application can be delivered with a card/navigation client. The features are not delivered if the device does not have these functionalities.
