beLocal mobile

M-Way Solutions GmbH offers a technological and economical leading solution for the provisioning of city information on mobile devices, such as Smartphone, PDA and mobile phone.

beLocal mobile leads you through every city having references on beLocal. The POIs (points of interest – references and Tipps from beLocal) are shown for the individual categories (e.g. Tourism Information, Events, Points of interests, Museums, Food & Beverage). Due to your location search and to the storage capacity of the mobile device the user gets different variety of POIs. The individual articles are displayed with a picture and a short, significant description, so the user gets a quick overview from the offers nearby. A detailed description to the individual points is listed in a circumstantial report. The displayed articles are professionally prepared and evaluated by the community members so that the hot POIs are always in the top hitlist.





Features

The Java City Guide is a online/offline Client. The user installs an individual information package on his mobile device. As soon as the application is online more city- and travel-information can get added dynamical. By request of the user topic oriented guides can also get installed (e.g. golf guide, winter guide or wine guide).

Besides beLocal can be upgraded with more functions for example „neighbourhood search“ or „text to speach“ due to the technical specifications of the mobile device.

1. By Download: The user makes a free download of the application at his PC via beLocal, RegioCMS and the websites of the cities and transfers it via Bluetooth or USB on his mobile phone.


2. By SMS: The user sends a short message to a service number and gets a short message with a link. By using this link the software download can be done.
